Howard Nett has over 20 years of experience as both a musician and a composer. Playing both guitar and bass, Howard flaunts a unique and eclectic style based in the blues and combining elements of jazz, Latin, funk and country.
Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Howard honed his craft in the San Francisco Bay Area. While leading New Sun Born, a popular jazz/hip-hop ensemble from San Francisco, Howard opened for artists including Black Eyed Peas, The Roots, Digital Underground, and KRS-One. New Sun Born toured successfully throughout Northern California and recorded a demo single for Warner Bros. Records in the late 90s.
Howard currently lives on Oahu with his wife and two young children.
